We are currently seeking an Admissions Director who has the skill set to work with hospitals and other medical facilities in the area to identify and help place individuals who have skilled nursing needs. This position requires the ability to develop strong relationships with key referral sources and the ability to uncover new opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a in Nursing Home Admissions.

Necessary Skills/Qualifications:

• Candidates for this job should: Be self-driven with business development goals and ability to execute plans to achieve desired outcomes.
• Developing the Facility's census Coordinating the resident referral and approval process in an efficient manner Establishing & maintaining relationships with local hospitals for the purpose of generating consistent admissions to the facility Understand the admissions process including policy, procedures, assessments & paperwork requirements
• Support the facility's PR to generate a positive image & encourage word-of-mouth referrals.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations governing Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care reimbursement processes
• Communicate special needs of new admissions to staff to ensure a smooth transition
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Experience in community relations preferred
• Be self-driven with excellent internal sales/marketing skills
• Ability to implement the process to achieve desired outcomes
• Possess communication, time management and organizational skills
• Solid computer skills; working knowledge of MS Office
• Possess excellent sales and marketing, communication, time management and organizational skills and a great personality.
